That would have been so annoying. Luck...Oh, Sally! That would have been so annoying. Lucky these ones were just day tripper but we just couldn't believe the cheek of it! We love our solitude. Maybe next time when someone pulls up you should blare some heavy metal music, that might deter them, lol!!Joolzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07490462580345458546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3933918566439098177.post-56471027033317199202018-06-02T14:40:55.342+09:302018-06-02T14:40:55.342+09:30Julie I love reading about your camping adventures...Julie I love reading about your camping adventures, and marvel at how you still manage to make everything look so elegant and civilized, even your fingernails. ;-)<br />I'm afraid our camping dinners, although nutritious, look nowhere near as polished as yours. I love your 'pig', what a perfect camping fire/cooker. I wonder if anyone else has had issues with the toughened glass? What a mystery! We have the same glass cover on our gas cook top in the Avan. Regarding rude intruders of your space, we had some terrible experiences during our trip away, and I now seem to be on edge for the entire evening after setting up, in fear of having our peace and solitude broken by inconsiderate fellow campers. What's it about? Why do they feel they need to park right on top of us when there are numerous campsites of equal beauty to be camped on? One evening, after setting up in a beautiful quiet spot, a camper bus pulled up right behind us and the two men were preparing to camp there while dozens of other secluded spots were there for the taking. I'd had a glass of red so, full of Dutch courage, I went to greet them, told them about a fabulous campsite just over there, right near the water! Lo and behold, with many thanks for my suggestion, they took off and we didn't see them again. Lol!!! But the next night, different place, just as we were going off to sleep in the most peaceful quietness, a caravan pulled up just behind us!!! Grrrr.. From now on I'm going to take the bull by the horns and tell whoever invades our space that we have parked away from everyone for a reason...because our dog tends to get noisy at night and we are considerate of other campers. ;-) And as for fellow campers who must have their music blaring loudly, don't start me on that one. Such a beautiful spot you went to, but you have so many to choose from close to where you live. Jembella Farmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07646075804716647311noreply@blogger.com
