KI...Day 4

Friday, April 6th, 2018
This morning we packed up camp from Kingscote Tourist Park and went and did our grocery shopping for the rest of our trip.  Then we headed for Parndana.  Along the way, we came to KI Spirits so we called in...

I was keen to try their Mulberry Gin...it didn't disappoint!
~

They have a lovely area where they have live music and you can just chill out on couches, rugs and chairs.  I believe that could get quite messy on a nice sunny day!

We made our way on to Parndana where we had to see a client.  After that, we needed to get fuel before heading on to the Marron Farm where we would have lunch.  We got fuel at Davo's Diner and I just happened to mention that we were heading out to the farm.  Brenda, the waitress said they were shut! Our lunch ended up being a Davo's burger with the lot...which has fantastic!  We were a bit miffed that the marron farm was shut but glad she'd told us as we would have travelled about 30km out of our way and would have been hungry when we got there!

Then it was down lots of dusty dirt roads to get to our next camp spot at Western River Cove...

As luck would have it, when we got there, there was a ripper spot, perched high above the other sites, overlooking the inlet...we positioned Pearl using the front hitch (it just made it a bit easier than backing her in)...

What a spot!

Time for happy hour!

A very peaceful sunset...

Very relaxing...we are here for 2 nights...

We had bought some schnapper fillets in Kingscote for our dinner and they were delicious...

Time for bed, we have fishing to do tomorrow!
Cheers - Joolz xx
