Postcards from Tasmania 2 ...

Day 2 Monday 12/09/26 We had a cosy night in Pearl, except my head got a bit cold at times.  I might have to buy a beanie to wear. We got up and got the pig going as  although it is sunny, it's only about 6C...
A beautiful view...
This is our camp...
Nothing better to do than sit in the sun with a cup of coffee...
Joint effort of poached eggs by me and bacon, tomato and toast by Gus on the Weber...
Nature...
After some bush ablutions, we headedfor Port Sorrell and Shearwater for more wood and a few other things...
...then we went to Ghost Rock winery to try theirwines and have some lunch...
...and what a lunch it was! A huge platter full of meats, salmon, trout, pates, terribes, pesto, cheeses, pickled vegetables, bread and crackers!
Magnificent!
After lunch we wobbled our way back to the NP and took the short walk to Bakers Beach...
Don't you just love big sky days?
A ramble back to the car and home to camp to light the pig again.
Plenty of pademelons around at dusk tonight...
~
A combined dinner - Gus cooked the rack of lamb, I prepared the potatoes and baby carrots, peas and gravy! Yum!
Night all xxx Joolz
