We took the 12 noon ferry with Ruby and Pearl safely in the hold...
~
The crossing from Cape Jervis to Penneshaw took about 45 minutes...
~
~
~
We were on the road at 12.55pm heading for a lunch destination...
~
Dudley Wines ...
~
...with magnificent views of mainland Australia over the Backstairs Passage...
~
We shared a lovely platter...
~
Then we went back to Penneshaw to buy ice, beer and a new fishing rod for me...I snapped one at Yondah!
~
Then it was down a lot of bone-shaking, corrugated white metal roads in search of our camp spot for the night...
~
We missed it the first time and had to retrace our steps. This is known as Teatrees 2 in Cape Gantheaume Conservation Park...
~
We got Pearl snugged in really nice and she was so level, we didn’t need to adjust her at all! From flipping her out to having the legs down to making the bed, it was 25 minutes.
~
We are right on the beach but there is a huge amount of seaweed built up...but stinky!
~
Time for happy hour!
~
It’s very peaceful and calm...
~
I made Thai green curry chicken for dinner and we had an early night, lights out at 10pm...fishing tomorrow!
Cheers - Joolz xx
